Chris K lecture, lets see how much i remember since its been over a week and my attention is mainly on a 24 episode. Chris is considered a sound artist. One of his main topics of work that he has done is a language removal service. This service works on recordings of people talking and take out the words and just leaves the “uhms” silence stutters etc. It gets to the meaning of social language and gets to the personal. I think this type of language removals makes people seem kinda clueless in a way. This service is a company that Chris started that seems to be based of the Internet. Chris other sound works is certain scenes from movies such as sounds of guns and the barrels hitting the ground creating a sort of peaceful tune.
